Project Lisha: Building a kitchen, dining room and assembly hall for the whole Community
Project Lisha began with a simple but powerful idea — to create a space that brings people together.
At Kaimbaga Secondary School in Kenya, what was once an empty area has been transformed into a beautiful new kitchen and dining hall that now serves hundreds of students each day.
The building provides more than just meals. It offers a clean, welcoming environment where students can sit together, share conversations, and focus on their studies without the barrier of hunger.
Since its completion, the hall has become a central part of school life — doubling as an assembly space and a churchwhere students and teachers gather for events, community meetings, and Sunday services. It stands as a symbol of unity and progress, designed not only for function but to strengthen the spirit of the school.
Project Lisha represents what can be achieved when communities come together with purpose. It’s not just a building — it’s a place that feeds minds, bodies, and connection.
